01 / There is a lot behind that date

There is a lot behind that date.

Manish has been training with me since 2014. More than a decade later, we are still sharing time in the gym.

That is the reason I wanted to put his story in this series. A long training relationship means something to me as a coach. It deserves a place alongside the challenge results and personal breakthroughs.

The date gives you the scale of it. This is someone who has kept training as part of his life over years.

02 / A longer view of consistency

A longer view of consistency.

A new program has an obvious beginning. Long-term training is a different story to tell: someone continues to make room for it after the first few weeks have passed.

Manish’s story lets us look at that longer view. Consistency is something we can recognise across the years we have worked together.

What I can say is that we have been training together since 2014. That continuing relationship is the fact at the centre of this profile.

03 / More than a before-and-after

More than a before-and-after.

A photograph captures one moment. The years of training around it are harder to show.

That is why I wanted to pair this image of Manish with his video. You can see him in the gym and spend some time with the person whose commitment we are recognising.

The longevity of his training is what I want to recognise here. There are plenty of reasons to celebrate a person who keeps making time to train.

04 / A starting point that can become a habit

A starting point that can become a habit.

If you are new to training, more than a decade can sound like a long way away. You do not need to plan every one of those years today.

Our first conversation can be about what you want from training now and what fits your life. The next step should be something you can actually begin.

Manish’s place in this series is a reminder of how much time a training relationship can hold. I’m glad to still be part of his, and glad we can share a little of it here.
